Kian Ward

Kian Ward is the son of Nathan Ward, a professional writer, photographer, filmmaker and sustainable tourism consultant. The father-son duo worked together to make the short film El Monociclo en Cuba (Mountainfilm 2020), a story that follows Kian’s experience riding unicycles and learning about the world through homeschooling in Cuba. Kian planned and directed shots, talked with musicians about using their music and worked on the edit — in addition to riding the unicycle.
