Explorer, educator, and storyteller Josh Bernstein, has traveled more than 2,000,000 miles by train, plane, bus, bike, and camel to over 75 countries and all seven continents in the pursuit of knowledge and discovery. His adventures, spanning from the caverns of Jerusalem to the jungles of the Amazon, have been showcased in over 50 hours of award-winning, primetime documentaries he has hosted for History, Discovery, National Geographic, Smithsonian Institution, and NASA. Josh’s newest series (produced by First Light Studios, his production company) is called Explorer At Large and it seeks to build a sacred connection between people and our planet. 2025 will mark Josh’s 11th Mountainfilm, stretching back to his first festival in 1997.
