Josh Berman

Josh Berman started his career in the New York City production scene while earning a degree in film studies and photography from Dartmouth College, from which he graduated with honors in 2001. When a knee injury sidetracked Berman’s pursuit of skiing professionally he stepped behind the lens and founded Level 1 as a vehicle through which to produce his first films. Berman forged his own path following the snow to Colorado and has been shooting, producing, directing, and editing award-winning outdoor and action sports films and commercial work over the past two decades for clients around the globe. His films have been shown at Mountainfilm, including Tatum Monod 2016 (Mountainfilm 2017), Day 1 (Mountainfilm 2020) and Full Circle (Mountainfilm 2023).
