José González

Founder and director of Latino Outdoors, José G. González works to create a national community of leaders in conservation and outdoor education. His focus is on expanding and amplifying the Latino experience in the outdoors, as the Latino population is the fastest growing demographic in the United States yet among the most underrepresented groups in conservation, outdoor recreation and environmental education organizations. With a background in public education, González is deeply passionate about providing opportunities for the Latino population to engage in outdoor experiences.
