Debbie Resnick

Debbie Resnick discovered Telluride nearly 20 years ago while on a road trip with her friends through the American West. Driving along the valley floor into town, she felt the San Juans giving her a warm embrace decided to build a life here with her husband Jeff. Since then, Debbie, her husband Jeff, and her two Icelandic Sheepdogs, Ovi and Mikko, have been blessed to call Telluride home. Debbie has worked with a number of local and national nonprofits to empower women, girls and members of the Queer community to lead happier, healthier more productive lives. She also realizes that social justice needs to occur in the context of a healthy environment and as such as devoted her personal and professional resources to assist Mountainfilm in fulfilling its mission of 'using the power of film, art and ideas to inspire audiences to create a better world.'
