Dani Reyes-Acosta
Dani Reyes-Acosta is an award-winning filmmaker, advocate, athlete and cultural strategist, whose work explores reciprocity in the outdoors. Founder of Afuera Productions, recent credits include Dispatches, Well Worn Life, and the “Outlier” film series. Honored as Protect Our Winters' Alliance Member of the Year and a North Face Explore Fund Council Member in 2022, she also received the 2024 Adán Medrano Film Award. A speaker and strategist, her work spans Fortune 100 companies, climate advocacy and cultural storytelling. She lives in rural Colorado with her partner Johnny, where she proudly reclaims the complexities of her heritage as a food producer, cultivator and legacy Coloradan.
