Beth Wald
In her photography, Beth Wald combines a lifelong love of the natural environment and a fascination with the world’s diverse cultures, passions that have led her on a wide-ranging visual exploration of how we as humans interact with the environment that surrounds us. Most recently, she has worked to document cultures and environments at risk, including the plight of the people and environment of Afghanistan. A recipient of the 2006 Rowell Award for the Art of Adventure, Beth has done national and international assignments for many editorial clients, including National Geographic, Smithsonian, The New York Times, Outside and many others.
